Canada's Premier Aftermarket Conference The Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA Canada) will host its eight annual Automotive Aftermarket Forum on Nov. 19, 2003, in Toronto, Ont. Donald Cooper, formerly Cooper Canada, will be the keynote opening speaker. Cooper Canada became the world's leading manufacturer of hockey equipment and Canada's largest maker of sports equipment and fine leather goods, exporting to more than 30 countries throughout the world. In addition to Cooper, John Washbish, president and CEO of Dana Corporation, will share his "Confessions of a Technophobe." Dennis DesRosiers, of DesRosiers Automotive Consultants, will provide highlights from Canadian aftermarket statistics and forecasts and provide his "out of the box," and always controversial, look at Canadian industry trends. IBM Canada Ltd., vice president, mid-market, Tom Turchet will look at IT best practices in other industries to start to envision the future IT needs of the aftermarket.
